Remote control signal
Most remotes on LCD projectors can be used to program where the signal is received to turn on/off or access the menu on the projector.
It is very easy to change the set up to rear, front or both.
Simply press the menu button and go to settings.
Select remote receiver and then select front/rear for best results.
This will allow you to stand either behind or front of the projector to turn if off or on.
Freezing your screen
Your morning work is up on the screen and you need to take attendance with out disturbing your students.
Simple press the freeze button and the screen will be frozen on what is being projected at that time. Now you may switch applications, take attendance, open your PowerPoint, etc.
When you are finished with the frozen screen simply press the freeze button on the remote again and you are back to a live shot of what is on your monitor.
